    Position Summary

     

    This position is responsible for mine planning across Mid-Atlantic sites.

     

    Requirements

    • BS in Geology, Mining Engineering, or related field
    • Miniumum 2 years experience construction, mining, or aggregate industry
    • Previous mining operations experience to include use of mine planning software or the ability to learn software at an accelerated pace

    • Role requires collaboration with management, operations, environmental, and land teams to generate feasible mine plans
    • Strategic thinking to create comprehensive easy to follow plans (short to life of mine) to guide site development
    • Future work will include assisting development of a sustainable mine planning system for the Division

    • On site work will involve surveying and drone flying in addition to computer work

    • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; good planning skills
    • Highly motivated candidate with strong interpersonal skills
    • Effective oral and written communication skills; excellent report writing
    • Proficient in MS applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and AutoCAD; Aggflow software exposure a plus
    • Moderate travel to sites
