    Position Summary


    Responsible for supervising and management of the maintenance department and maintenance employees at the plant site. This position is for the second shift and reports to the Plant Manager.



    • Successfully implement and help coordinate the company’s Safety Program and ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal regulations
    • Planning and scheduling of preventative and repair maintenance of plant equipment
    • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical and mechanical problems
    • Improve and manage maintenance costs

    Minimum Education and Experience

    • 5+ years of experience in mining or construction industry
    • 3 years in a supervisory/ leadership position
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize, delegate and manage multiple tasks with strong planning skills
    • Working knowledge of crushing and conveying equipment
    • Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to interact effectively with internal and external (i.e. vendors and contractors) individuals
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;  JDE experience a plus
