    Summary:

     

    We are seeking a Senior Manager, Transformation Projects to join our corporate finance team.  Reporting to the Vice President Strategic Finance, this position will be responsible for building the Transformation Projects department including overall coordination and leadership of large scale, cross-functional projects including economic profit, enterprise risk management, capital request & reporting and/or other initiatives as prioritized for The Company.

     

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage analysts, project managers and/or project resources as assigned by The Company
    • Responsible for leading initiation through execution of large and complex, sometimes unconventional, strategic in nature projects that have a high degree of scope and risk, on time and within budget
    • Compile, analyze and communicate detailed project objectives and requirements
    • Lead cross-functional project teams through influence and serve as a key partner with project sponsors
    • Work with teams to define project charters, develop project timelines / plans, monitor project budget(s), lead risk identification/management and orchestrate project communications / change management
    • Establish and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
    • Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, including executives, managers and peers
    • Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures and Code of Ethical Business Conduct

     

    Qualifications and skills:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, accounting, finance, business administration or related field required
    • MBA or Master’s Degree in a project management related field highly preferred
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) highly preferred
    • Minimum 10 years of professional, cross-functional experience, including experience managing large scale, cross-functional projects with hands on experience using the complete PM toolkit and process required
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communications; relationship building as well as presentation skills to present project concepts and manage change at all levels within the company
    • Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
    • Continuous improvement experience (six sigma, lean, agile, etc.) experience highly preferred
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment, multi-task and support multiple projects
    • Highly skilled in use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point and other productivity tools
