    Position Summary

    Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Sales Audit Admin I will work closely with the Sales Audit Team, Finance, Sales, and Credit Departments while performing a variety of accounting functions.


    Job Description

    • Processes plant sales tickets and is the primary contact for ticket issues


    • Audits daily sales prior to billing
    • Reconciles shipments from point of sale to the general ledger
    • Reconciles COD/credit card and cash sales, short payments and unapplied cash
    • Will work closely with plant personnel such as Weighmasters and Office Managers along with Sales and Finance Manager to ensure the ticketing process is in compliance with company policy and SOX
    • Involved with providing ticketing and reconciliation information to Internal Audit as required
    • Additional duties including directing incoming calls and handling visitor registration and mail, etc.
    • Maintain Sales Tax Exemption records
    • Cross train with other members of the Sales Audit team
    • Job Requirements
    • Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent work experience
    • 2+ years related experience
    • Proficient in MS Office suite – primarily Excel and Word
    • JD Edwards, Seltec, APEX or other ERP system experience preferred
    • Keen attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and strong organizational skills
    • Must have a team focus
    • Proven customer service skills
    • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
    • Occasional day or overnight travel required
