    Position Summary

     

    While managing with a safety-first style, you will oversee planning and coordinating of night shift mining activities. This will include communicating closely with the plant manager, assistant plant manager, lead-men as well as the production manager to ensure all production demands are met.

     

    Requirements

    • Ensure the proper maintenance and securing of company assets
    • Complete required daily and monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, and problem solving skills
    • Minimum of 3-5 years' supervisory experience in mining, aggregates, or related industry
    • Promote and provide a safe and clean working environment
    • Schedule work requirements to meet product demands
    • Counsel employees toward high performance and administer disciplinary actions as necessary
    • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner
    • Maintain production, blasting, and environmental records required by operating permit
    • Ensure quality standards are met
    • Work with internal and external customers
