Reporting to the Benefits Manager, the Benefits Specialist is responsible for the administration of benefit programs. The Benefits Specialist is actively involved in program development, implementation and continuous improvement efforts. This position provides guidance and assistance to all company locations (field HR representatives) on various benefit plans. The Benefits Specialist handles employee and retiree benefit inquiries and issues to ensure quick, equitable and courteous resolution. The Benefits Specialist serves as day-to-day contact for third-party administrators and independently provides direction with respect to maintenance of records and administrative procedures.
