    Position Summary


    The Asphalt Fuel/Oiler position supports plant  and pm,ing  operations and supplies assistance in a variety of areas, including safety, organization/cleanliness,  maintenance/repairs, paperwork, and other duties as assigned.



    • Responsible for adhering to the policies of safety and overall daily operations of asphalt plant, maintenance facility and job
    • Shared accountability for environmental compliance of assigned
    • Continue current standards achieved in quality, and participate in innovative programs that relate to asphalt/paving production
    • Assist and maintain a safe and orderly shop and Fuel/oiler truck, e., general housekeeping.  Maintain a safety focus and follow all safety policies.
    • Develops knowledge of Metro Denver and surrounding areas and jobsites.
    • Perform PM services and general maintenance required for all
    • Manage inventory and order all materials required for Fuel/oiler service
    • Maintain accurate daily fuel and hour on equipment log
    • Implement daily and proper preventive maintenance on Fuel/ Oiler truck


    • Good communication skills and a team
    • Willing to work hours that are associated to the asphalt
    • Basic mathematical and computer skills
    • Must be able to meet minimum physical standard required by Martin Marietta
    • Maintain current CDL license with HAZMAT

    Minimum Education and Experience

    • 3 years industry experience
    • Strong knowledge of asphalt and paving operations a plus
    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Knowledge of various pieces of asphalt paving equipment a plus
