    Position Summary

    This position consists of, but is not limited to: Assist in establishing a process for reviewing, modifying and negotiating Material Purchase Orders encompassing all lines of business.  Create a system for tracking Purchase Orders received and maintaining that system to store executed Purchase Orders for future reference as needed to maintain consistency.    Develop and maintain Internal Customer relations as needed for the completion of Pre-Qualifications as requested/required by our External Customers.  Assist/learn the process of Contract review, modification and negotiations as required by project flow. This is a great opportunity for someone who is just getting into working with contracts and has a desire to learn more and grow with a great company.

    Minimum Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Procurement and Contract Management preferred. Work experience can be substituted for education
    • Experience in the construction industry
    • Proven interpersonal skills

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Contract/Purchase Order Knowledge – Familiarity with Contract/Purchase Order language
    • Exemplary Communication Skills – Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written) with internal and external customer. Maintain positive working relationships, both internal and external  
    • Insurance/Bonds – Familiarity with myCOI, ebix and additional insurance tracking systems helpful
    • OSHA/MSHA
    • Technology Capabilities – proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and internal systems.
    • Familiarity with Pre-Qualification Websites such as: ISNetworld, Browz, PIC, Avetta, PEC and Textura helpful
    • Preparation of logs, directories and information to be used Divisionally to establish consistency with Pre-Qualifications, Purchase Orders and Contracts that will assist to avoid duplication
    • Reliability – Willing to work together as a team to learn; ability to be a self-starter and work independently, maintain a high level of integrity and ethics per the Company’s Ethics Policy and Code of Conduct.
