    Position Summary


    The Credit Representative will be is responsible for the collections of customer accounts, reducing accounts receivable delinquency, and assisting with other aspects of risk mitigation with respect to receivables (credit granting, lien management, etc.).




    • Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
    • Identify & resolve customer billing problems and reduce accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner.
    • Monthly & quarterly reporting and communication with sales and management on the status of collection efforts and issues attributing to account delinquency.
    • Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
    • Complete and return all waivers and releases in a timely manner.
    • The ability to read and interpret monthly aging reports


     Minimum Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or related discipline or equivalent industry experience preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of collections experience preferable in the construction industry, including interaction with a large customer base.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills required.
    • Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast changing environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word. 
    • Proficiency in JDE is preferred, but not required.
    • Notary Public (or willing to obtain)
    • Experience in the construction aggregates industry is preferred.
    • Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
