    Position Summary:

     

    Martin Marietta Magnesia Specialties, LLC Woodville Ohio facility is seeking an experienced maintenance shift supervisor to oversee the planning, organization, and direction of a mechanical maintenance team, with a focus on continuous improvement of the predictive/preventative maintenance systems. Duties include coordination of repairs, troubleshooting of plant systems, execution of plant projects, and overall team leadership of the assigned shift.

     

    Requirements:

     

    • Minimum of three years in an industrial maintenance environment
    • Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is desirable
    • Working knowledge of millwright tasks such as rigging equipment for heavy lifts, repair of machines and equipment, and adjusting clearances and alignment of moving parts is desirable
    • Strong planning, problem solving, troubleshooting, communication, project management, and leadership skills
    • Ability to work some off shifts and weekends
    • Supervision in a union environment is desirable
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize, delegate and manage multiple tasks with strong planning skills
    • Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to interact effectively with internal and external (i.e. vendors and contractors) individuals
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;  JDE experience a plus
