We are seeking a Utility/Truck Driver for our Salisbury Shop location. Responsibilities will require that the individual be capable of managing the safe loading and unloading of large & over weight pieces. Safe transport of such items will also be required of the position. The ability to rig, climb and properly tie down equipment and materials safely are a major responsibility of the job. Loading and unloading items from appropriate trailers, such as Lowboy and Flatbed Trailers are required. Accountability of the safe and timely transportation of such loads will be imperative. Considerable night and weekend travel can be required and the driver will be expected to be able to accept unplanned conditions without issue. Travel can also be as far as our Western State locations and the likelihood of being on the road for more than one week at a time is possible but limited. All maintenance and repair of the fleet will be supported by this position while traveling and while at Salisbury location. When not traveling the responsibilities will include all utility functions that relate to shipping, receiving, warehouse functions, facility maintenance, grounds maintenance, Shop support, and Field support. Good inventory management practices are strongly desired. The ability to communicate, an attitude of flexibility, and the willingness to work with others to accomplish the team objectives will be critical to meeting the demands of the position.
