    Position Summary

    Responsible for managing all engineering projects in the Indiana District, working out of Carmel, IN.  Coordinate efforts of project subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed, safely, timely and within budget.  Provide detailed plant layout/design drawings and budget information for capital expense projects to ensure proper resources are allocated.  



    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Mining or Structural engineering.
    • Project Management Experience, preferably in the aggregates industry.
    • Extensive progress toward completion or current PE license required.              
    • Ability to proficiently operate AutoCad to read, develop and understand project drawings and provide oversight for steel fabrication and erection, concrete installation including experience with concrete forming systems and detailed surveying skills.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Report writing and proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, AutoCAD and Power Point) a must.
    • Experience with material handling systems, including the installation and start-up of conveyors, screens, crushers, pumps and pumping systems, material washing systems and sand screws preferred. Experience with AggFlow (Aggregate Plant Simulation program) preferred.
    • Ability to work flexible hours and travel overnight as needed.
