    Position Summary

     

    Person needed for quality control product testing in a laboratory of a lime and chemical facility. Duties include in plant sampling, process and product testing, collecting and lifting samples (range of 40#) of product, preparation of samples collection, quality testing and analysis of product results. Must also have experience with testing equipment. Will also be required to maintain testing equipment, enter data, maintain records, troubleshoot and resolve quality issues. Background in chemistry with previous industrial lab experience required. Must adhere to all Company policies and practices including ethics, safety, and business confidentiality.

     

     

     Requirements

    • Background in chemistry with previous industrial lab experience required.
    • CPR and First Aid certification a plus.
    • Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
    • Proficient computer skills – Microsoft office.
    • Must be able to work independently and have strong leadership skills including decision making
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Flexibility to work any shift including midnights, afternoons and week-ends.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Proficient in MS Office and computer skills
    • Must have basic math skills
    • Proactive in safety and works well in a team environment
