    Summary

     

    We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager that will be responsible for planning, performing and finalizing all aspects of enterprise information technology projects.  This position will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and scope.  This role will report directly to Director of Project Management and will be located at our Corporate office in Raleigh, NC.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage enterprise-wide, complex IT projects, consistent with the Martin Marietta Project Management Methodology
    • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders and sponsors
    • Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables
    • Conduct project lessons learned and document recommendations to identify successful project elements and areas for improvement
    • Provide strong leadership in delivering projects on time, within budget and scope
    • Identify, prioritize and manage project risks and issues
    • Manage project resources including reporting on utilization versus allocation
    • Manage diverse project teams including local and remote resources
    • Establish, communicate, and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
    • Clearly report on project status to Steering Committee as appropriate
    • Participate in the negotiation of contracts, SOWs, vendor selection and vendor management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, including executives, managers and peers
    • Promote projects and the project management processes throughout the Organization

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
    • PMP Certification required
    • 7-10+ years' of experience managing enterprise-wide IT-related projects
    • Ability to manage multiple projects including large, complex, high-risk, and highly visible projects
    • Must be open-minded, collaborative and visionary in nature
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced organization
    • Familiarity with automated project portfolio management tools, preferably MS Project Server 2016+
