    We are currently seeking a Compensation Analyst that will play an integral role in the design, development, implementation, and administration of Martin Marietta’s compensation programs. The role provides subject matter expertise in base pay management, incentive/variable pay, and job analysis to support the attraction and retention of top talent. This position will consult with compensation leadership, business leaders, and HR representatives to support fair, equitable, compliant and responsible compensation practices.  



    • Conducting compensation evaluations for new hires and internal promotions and providing guidance to HR and business leaders on appropriate actions.
    • Analyzing job summaries to determine grade classification, hiring ranges and bonus targets.
    • Participating in market intelligence surveys and analyzing results.
    • Administering annual pay increase and bonus award processes.
    • Working with HR representatives to create and maintain pay schedules and job codes.
    • Preparing communications materials for HR representatives and business managers.
    • Providing recurring and ad-hoc compensation metrics and data reporting.
    • Perform all activities in accordance with the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Values, and in compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures, and Code of Ethical Business Conduct. 

    Qualifications and skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience required.
    • 2 years’ experience in Human Resources, Finance, Business Operations or a related field.
    • Experience with mathematics, data analysis, accounting, or business statistics.
    • Ability to use data manipulation expertise in Excel spreadsheets (e.g., concatenation, v-lookups, and pivot tables) to solve complex problems.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize activities, and self-manage work focus and time for optimum results.
    • Ability to make sound judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
    • Ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to communicate persuasively and deliver a clear and concise message.
