    Position Summary


    The qualified candidate will travel to several Virginia Area locations and be responsible for weighing and ticketing customer trucks and rail and assuring that proper accounting has been made for the materials purchased. Interact on a constant basis with visitors, customers and truck drivers. Duties include customer service, issuing weight tickets for truck and rail sales, quality control tracking, recording state sales and preparing deposits.  In addition the position will assist the Office Manager with purchase orders, safety documentation, and other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Ability to greet customers and project a friendly, cooperative, and positive attitude
    • Knowledge of legal weights & measures helpful
    • Strong geographic knowledge of Richmond, Henrico and Hanover are helpful
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Basic computer knowledge/skills, Excel and Outlook
    • Competent operating normal office equipment - copiers, scanners, adding machines, computers, printers, etc.
    • Must be able to communicate over CB and two way radio
    • Ability to work weekends and extended hours with short notice
