    Position Summary:

    We are seeking an Equipment Specialist to work at our Salisbury, NC facility.  This position will be responsible for participating as an active team member and leader for Crusher Maintenance Efforts across the entire corporation.  In addition, responsibilities are to safely and efficiently perform crusher inspection, trouble shooting, maintenance, repair, rebuild and start-up functions. Inspecting, surveying, trouble shooting and root cause analysis responsibilities will require good communication skills and report writing capabilities. Financial management of projects and personal expenses are a vital component of the job. Leadership and supervision of teams appointed to complete job assignments of various sizes are a large portion of the work requirement. Some jobs require individual efforts to complete the work and will require the ability to rig, cut, weld, fabricate, disassemble and restore equipment to its full operating condition, without the help of others. The ability to communicate and train people on Best Practices of Safety, Operation, Preventative Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance will also be an important part of this job.


    • Must be a self-motivated, strong work ethic individual that is willing to work with minimal supervision and at high level of accountability to operational requirements
    • A strong mechanical background and working knowledge of crushing equipment will be required
    • A willingness to stick with and solve problems as they arise are mandatory
    • Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems to perform basic trouble shooting, start up and maintenance tasks are required
    • The ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics will be necessary
    • The ability to correctly measure parts, clearances and interference fits are necessary to perform the job functions
    • Experience with mics and calipers to measure parts are required
    • Basic computer skills required; advanced computer skills for reporting, information transfer, scheduling and analysis a plus
