Description: This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment for the Northern Colorado area paving, grading and patch crews.

  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Must be willing to learn and operate various pieces of equipment. (Pavers, Rollers, Skid Loader, Backhoes, Loaders, Blades, Tractors, Plate tampers, saw, etc.)
  • Ability to travel to and from job locations across the Ft. Collins / Greeley / Loveland area
  • Able to work various hours including nights and weekends.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Maintain current driver’s license.
  • Punctual and reliable; good attendance required
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills 
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 1 year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • This job requires the ability to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest and steel-toed boots.
  • Must be able to use tools such as brooms, shovels, rakes and similar to perform basic job duties
  • Must be able to stoop, bend and lift 50 lbs. from ground to waist level on a repetitive basis. 
  • Be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions (wet, dry, hot, cold, etc.)
