Provide professional human resources consultation in the support and execution of organizational and company policies, procedures and programs. Responsible for exempt and non-exempt level recruiting, onboarding, compensation management, employee relations consultation, organizational development, and training for assigned territory. Responsible for working and cultivating relationships with colleges and trade schools to strengthen our recruitment channels in our local markets. Coordinates employment procedures in accordance with corporate policy ensuring cost effective recruiting and properly processed and oriented new employees. Effectively interpret guidelines and regulations for EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, MSHA, Affirmative Action, Worker’s Compensation and other employment and labor laws. Acts as a resource for employee questions regarding employee relations issues, pay, and benefits information. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management in related discipline (strongly preferred). Significant HR experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
2 to 5 years’ experience in HR and/or safety related field required, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment with strong recruitment experience
PHR Certification preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Solid organizational and technical writing skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and the use of PC
Field work and some travel may be required
