Position Summary


Manage and lead the night maintenance crew at the Spec Agg Quarry. Develop a productive and employee owned safety and work culture, ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner an da quality consistent with prior practices.



  • Responsible for training, scheduling, and leading hourly maintenance and purchasing employees, as well as contract maintenance activities throughout the operation
  • Successfully implement and help coordinate the company’s Safety Program and ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal regulations

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in mining or construction industry preferred
  • 2+ years in a supervisory/ leadership position preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize, delegate and manage multiple tasks with strong planning skills
  • Experience in Heavy Equipment Mechanic field, particularly CAT, preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to interact effectively with internal and external (i.e. vendors and contractors) individuals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;  JDE experience a plus
